I served as a teaching assistant for five years. My teaching experience spans upper-division and lower-division physics courses. A list of previously taught courses:

Duties include holding discussion sessions and office hours, writing and grading homework, writing and grading exams, and helping develop the curricula.

Teaching Award

In June 2023, I was honored to win the Physics Department Outstanding Teaching Assistant Award at UC Santa Cruz.

Other teaching experiences

California State Summer School for Mathematics & Science      Summer 2023

Served as a teaching assistant in the 4-week summer program for high school students. The program introduces students to quantum information and quantum computing, which are subjects that are not traditionally offered in high school. Duties include holding office hours and mentoring students for their final projects.

Women in Science and Engineering Tutoring Program                  Spring 2022

Tutored middle school students in mathematics and science as part of a volunteer program. The program partnered with local middle schools in Santa Cruz and focused on helping underrepresented students and students from low-income families to improve their learning experiences.
